Artist’s Pledge (2009)

In celebration of the 50^th anniversary of Swiss artist Jean Tinguely’s airdrop of 50.000 manifestos, I dropped 5.000 Artist’s Pledges from the top parking level of a Cologne department store. A pledge is the ceremonial declaration of one’s professional ethics. To phrase it seemed an interesting and honorable job to me, especially with regards to the artistic freedom I claim for ym self and my profession.
