Cologne Biennial of Art (2006-)
42 biennialists from 29 different countries present their works independent of place and time. "Cologne contemporary international art biennale 08", the world’s first and so far only self-curated art biennial, shows contemporary art in various places, free from a biennial’s two-year rhythm. So far, there have been biennial events in New York, Cologne, Venice, Hamburg, Wiesbaden, Berlin, Zurich and Rüdesheim.
