Ballot Paper (2010)
In 2010, a party was founded to fight the increasing voting apathy. DIE UNGÜLTIGEN (“The Null-and-Voids”) asks all eligible voters to actively use their right to vote. The ballot paper, though, should be artistically treated in a fashion that makes it null and void. In any important election, more than 500.000 people make their ballot paper null and void, some out of ineptitude, some by design. DIE UNGÜLTIGEN wants to awaken the creative potential slumbering within the voters and make the sad act of going to the polls an individual personal and political event.
These are some examples for a representative ballot paper design.
