Baptizing the Rhine (2009)

September 23rd, 2009 was the Rhine's ten millionth birthday. Therefore I took some water from its tributaries that would have entered it shortly afterwards and baptized the Rhine in the name of the rivers I had visited. A commemorative brass plaque on the shore bears witness of birthday and baptism.

September 23rd, 2022 the baptizing had its 13th anniversary.
